Our Olympic Spirit
We showed the world that we are proud to be Canadian
Canadian Pacific worked with the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to bring the message of the games to people all across our nation giving every Canadian an opportunity to take part in this world event.
We used our network of rail; the very steel ribbon that helped stitched this country together to send our CP Spirit Train across the country. It served as a mobile ambassador of goodwill, rallying and exciting Canadians from coast to coast to celebrate our National pride as Canada welcomes the world in 2010. We’re proud to share the history; introduce everyone to the sports; create the feeling of competition and help make everyone feel a part of Canada’s team.
We'd like to thank everyone for coming out to experience the CP Spirit Train and for supporting our Canadian athletes. It was our pleasure to bring the spirit of the 2010 Winter Games to all Canadians. Many thanks to the volunteers and our partners for making this National event a success.
